Mario Goncalo Cruz(X) is a multidisciplinary artist working across the fields of Fashion Design, Performance, Music and Installation.
Conceptually, X's artistic approach tends to be heavily influenced by cultures/subcultures, especially the Queer Punk/Quercore scenes from the late 80s.
Mario creates dark and disruptive environments 'romanticising violence' and exploring sex, humour, and hedonic ways of being.
Recently X introduced AI to create surrealistic and dystopian environments/characters to inform X artist practice.
